Kid Friendly Meals and Snacks

Meals

  • Air fried Chicken tenders with air fried potato circles, wedges, or fries 

    -For the chicken - cover in seasonings of choice and/or egg wash, “bread crumbs”, or controlled amount of oil/spray.

    -For the potatoes - cover in controlled amount of oil/spray

  • Middle eastern chicken skewers with hummus

  • Meatballs and zucchini noodles

  • Egg burrito with veggies and salsa or hummus or plain

  • Burger with salad and guacamole  “dressing” 

  • Latin Ground meat roll ups or quesadillas with cheese, or rice bowls, or salad bowls, or bean bowls, or peppers and onions with salsa 

  • Sushi with coconut amino dipping sauce

  • Asian stir fried sliced meat with or without rice noodle or rice and eggs with sliced vegetables (carrot, broccoli, zucchini, bamboo shoots, bok choy, or Chinese broccoli) with coconut amino sauce 

  • Greek yogurt banana pancakes

Savory snacks 

  • Broccoli potato tots or Dino shapes with nutritional yeast and marinara dipping sauce or chipotle greek yogurt dip

  • Pizza roll ups

  • Falafel with tahini sauce or tzatziki 

Sweet snacks 

  • Banana walnut ice cream - Pre-freeze sliced banana pieces overnight. Thaw for a couple of minutes and then put into blender or food processor. Add walnuts and any other wholesome mix-ins. (Ceylon cinnamon, coconut flakes, vanilla bean/powder).

  • Trail mix with dates, figs, nuts, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, and cacao nibs

  • Pumpkin or applesauce muffin

  • Cacao avocado brownies 

  • Cacao date mousse - Soak dates in good quality water until hydrated and more plump. Put into food processor or blender with preferred amount of cacao powder. Add small amount of milk of choice until desired consistency is reached. Refrigerate until cold.

  • Fruit with nut butter

  • Fruit skewers
